Under the 2003 Licensing Act, all public and private events where alcohol is supplied (including the giving away of alcohol) need to have either a full Premises License, or a Temporary Event Notice. The fine for not procuring either of these official documents for your event is a six month custodial sentence or a fine of up to £20,000.00
