| Under the 2003 Licensing Act, all public and private events where alcohol is supplied (including the giving away of alcohol) need to have either a full Premises License, or a Temporary Event Notice. The fine for not procuring either of these official documents for your event is a six month custodial sentence or a fine of up to £20,000.00 Peri Peri will always review whether your party requires a Licensing document - and if your event does need a specific application – we will liase with the local council, fire and police services to ensure that your function is 100% approved. For full details of how the new licensing act works, and how it affects your event – please review the link below: |
