Peri PeriPerfect Events – Every Time

PERI PERI TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.         INTERPRETATION
Armchair Leisure shall be referred to as Peri Peri. The Hirer shall mean any person or organisation contracting the hire of Goods and Services supplied by Peri Peri. Goods and Services shall mean all items supplied by Peri Peri on hire under the contract. Period of hire shall mean the period commencing when Peri Peri staff arrive at the Event with all or part of the Goods and Services, and ending when the Goods and Services have been removed from the Event. The Event shall mean the location specified in the contract for the supply of Goods and Services by Peri Peri.

2.         BOOKINGS
Booking are accepted subject to availability of stock on receipt of the 25% deposit (non-refundable). The balance must be paid 15 working days in advance of the Event. If payment is not met on completion of the Event, Interest is payable on the balance due at a rate of 4% above Bank of England Base Rate in the time being.

3.         CANCELLATION
Once the contract has been made Peri Peri reserves the right to charge 50% of the total hire price quoted. If cancelled within 20 days prior to the event, the full charge will be made, unless the Goods and Services are re-let, or re-hired.

4.         QUOTATIONS
Only quotations given in writing will be binding on Peri Peri. The quotation will be valid for 3 months subject to availability of stock. All fees quoted are exclusive of Value Added Tax.

5.          EVENT
The Goods and Services charges are based on the assumption that if the Event location is outside – the site has level, flat and firm ground with easy access for motor vehicles and that no cables, pipes, drains or other services are buried beneath the surface or otherwise concealed. And that if the Event location is inside, there is sufficient power for all the Goods and Services hired (unless provision of power has been included in the Peri Peri quotation.) Goods and Services charges exclude any repair or making good any damage to the Event site. The Hirer shall provide a plan or be present to confirm the position of all Goods and Services prior to their installation. Failure to do this will result in Peri Peri installing the Goods and Services where they think fit.

6.         VARIATION IN CHARGES
Peri Peri may increase its charges in the following circumstances: Events that do not comply with the requirements in Clause 5, waiting time or obstructed access, where a vehicle cannot be driven (in the opinion and discretion of Peri Peri) to within not more than 40 yards from the Event, or if unforeseen circumstances force the purchase or provision of additional goods and services for the successful completion of the Event. 

7.          BALANCE INVOICE
A further final balance invoice may be issued by Peri Peri after the Event , in the event of breakages; damage to equipment; or extra Goods and Services deemed necessary by Peri Peri for the successful completion of the Event.

8.         DAMAGE
Some damage (wear and tear) to the site will inevitably be caused by the Goods and Services and/or carriage vehicles and Peri Peri shall have no liability to the Hirer in respect of such damage.

9.          LIABILITY
The Hirer will indemnify Peri Peri against claims for loss or damage to property of third parties. The Hirer will be responsible for effecting adequate insurance for any damage/loss to the Goods and Services supplied by Peri Peri. The Hirer will be responsible for effecting adequate public liability insurance in respect of the Goods and Services and use of Goods and Services During the Period of Hire and Peri Peri shall have no liability for any loss, damage, injury or death resulting from the use of equipment during the Period of Hire.  If the Hirer takes out the insurance through Peri Peri @ 5% of the contract price, the Hirer is still liable for the first £250.00 of damage/loss.

10.        FORCE MAJEURE
Peri Peri accepts no responsibility or liability for non-fulfilment due to war, civil commotion, riot, adverse weather conditions, force majeure, fire, breakages, Government controls, priority regulations, scarcity of materials, labour difficulties, vehicle breakdown, internet connection problems or any other conditions beyond the control of Peri Peri.

11.        ENTRY TO EVENT SITE
The Hirer irrevocably authorises Peri Peri to enter onto the Event site in order to take down and collect any Goods and Service provided.
